The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais Public Security Service is asking for the public’s help in locating 59-year-old Robert Vachon. The Cantley resident’s pickup truck was located in the Wakefield sector of the municipality of La Pêche on March 6.
So far in the investigation, nothing suggests that Mr. Vachon was the victim of a crime, however, investigators fear for the safety of the subject. Elements gathered over the last few days have allowed the Sûreté du Québec divers to search the Gatineau River in the vicinity of the Wakefield covered bridge, but without success.
