On October 8, at around 11:30 a.m., the driver of a cement truck drove off the road on Clark Road in La Pêche. The 27-year-old man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. At the time of the incident, the cement truck was full of cement. Several responders were dispatched to the scene, including people from the Ministry of the Environment. It is believed that the accident was caused by inattention. Traffic was disrupted for several minutes.
