Last weekend, our police officers arrested drivers aged 23, 33, 38 and 66 for driving while impaired by alcohol. They were arrested in Chelsea, Val-des-Monts (Poltimore), Val-des-Monts (St-Pierre) and Cantley.
The consequences of such an arrest are far-reaching and inconvenient, so why take any chances? Not to mention the possibility of collisions and injuries to yourself and other road users. Statistically speaking, we have noted an increase of seven (7) arrests compared to this time last year. We have made 70 arrests so far.
