This afternoon, at around 2:00 p.m., several police officers were dispatched to Chemin Saint-Hyacinthe in Cantley concerning a possible break-in in progress. According to the person in charge of the residence, no one was supposed to be there, but two vehicles were present and a door had been left open. Once on site, the police established a security perimeter, where it was possible to confirm the presence of people inside the house. One man and two women finally emerged from the residence, and were immediately arrested. The individuals had entered the house to use it for a photo shoot, as the residence was uninhabited. At the request of the property manager, no criminal charges will be laid, but the three individuals – a 45-year-old man from Gatineau, a 37-year-old woman from Gatineau and a 33-year-old woman from Val-des-Monts – will all receive $509 tickets for being on private property.
