On October 26, at approximately 10:28 p.m., MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais public security service police officers were called to a scene near 523 Montée des Érables involving (1) vehicle.
On the scene, first responders located (1) man, the only occupant of a vehicle that had driven off the road for several hundred metres, severing a Hydro-Québec pole in the process.
Despite the presence of electrical wires on the ground, first responders quickly pulled out the occupant, who was incarcerated.
After an assessment, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and taken to the police station for a breathalyzer test.
The 44-year-old Cantley resident was more than (2) times over the legal alcohol limit. His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle seized for 30 days.
