A 28 year old driver was caught yesterday morning, January 11, at approximately 5:20 a.m. driving at 153 km/h on Highway 148 in the municipality of Pontiac, Luskville sector.
Not only was the driver speeding, but he also had a driver’s license sanctioned under the Criminal Code. But that’s not all, he was also wanted for an arrest warrant by our police department for failing to appear in court in 2022.
The individual was arrested on the spot in addition to receiving fines. A first one for speeding of $1,255 and 14 points and a second one of $2,250 for driving with a sanctioned license.
