A drugs search was conducted yesterday, December 5, in the municipality of La Pêche.
– Two (2) addresses: 29 chemin de la Beurrerie and 713 chemin Cléo-Fournier
– Two (2) arrests: one (1) 64-year-old man known to police and one (1) 58-year-old woman with no criminal record.
– In both cases, files will proceed by summons for possible charges
– Possible charges: sale of cannabis and possession of cannabis for the purpose of sale (Cannabis Act) / Possession of substances for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking of substances (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
Our police officers seized
– 35 kilograms of cannabis in bulk
– 46 cannabis plants
– 500 methamphetamine tablets
– Production and processing equipment
– A 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck
The search follows an investigation that lasted several weeks and was initiated by information received from the public.
