The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais Public Security Service wishes to inform the public that four (4) young men have been identified in connection with a string of thefts in vehicles in Cantley and Val-des-Monts over the past few days.
Three (3) of the suspects are 17 years old and one is 18. Of these, two (2) are residents of Cantley.
Yesterday, March 2, a vehicle was seized in Gatineau in connection with its alleged involvement in this series of thefts.
At this time, at least 30 official incidents have been reported in connection with this alleged group.
The investigation is ongoing, and it is possible that other people linked to these crimes will also be identified.
