On January 16, around 8:35 p.m., a 43-year-old female driver was arrested for impaired driving following a collision with another vehicle on Route Principale Est near Chemin de la Beurrerie in La Pêche.
When the officers intervened, they also noticed that the driver was accompanied by her 9-year-old child, who fortunately was not injured in the collision.
During breathalyser tests, the driver was found to be more than two times over the legal limit. Her driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle seized for 30 days.
