As many of you already know, our police officers often carry out speed enforcement operations in the 50 km/h zone on Mountain Road in the Luskville sector. In this sector, we find several new constructions as well as a daycare center so it is not rare that we also have complaints from citizens concerning speeding but also the non-respect of mandatory stops at the corner of Chemin de la Montagne and Crégheur.

So be on the lookout, respect the speed limit and plan to leave early and don’t be like this 20 year old motorist with a probationary driver’s license who, on November 14th, was caught driving at 112 km/h because he was late for work. This driving infraction cost him $1,246 and 14 points as well as a 7-day licence suspension.
