During Safe Boating Week, June 16-22, the members of our Boating Unit are joining with our many partners to remind everyone that the best flotation device to have is the one you wear. Despite of all the publicity surrounding the flotation vest, our agents still notice that it is the basic rule that is most flouted. During stops, it is not uncommon for our staff to notice that there are either no vests at all or not enough for everyone on board.
