Driving while impaired by alcohol is still very present and this despite advertising campaigns and prevention.
Between March 29th and April 1st, our officers intervened with 4 intoxicated persons, 3 of which were involved in traffic accidents.
Since January alone, 11 of the 21 impaired driving cases handled by our officers were directly related to accidents. For the same period in 2022, our officers made 20 arrests, 6 of which the driver was involved in an accident.
