With Fall Rhapsody taking place from September 23 to October 22, this very popular event also brings its share of visitors and, by the same token, vehicles. That’s why the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais Public Security Service is asking visitors to the Chelsea sector to respect the signs in place concerning prohibited parking.
Every year, we receive many complaints from citizens and motorists about vehicles that are not only illegally parked, but often immobilized, making traffic difficult and even dangerous.
The municipal roads where we have the most violations are: Meech Lake, Notch, de la Mine, Kingsmere, Scott and Old Chelsea. Please be advised that our police officers will be present throughout this period and will issue fines as required.
So it’s important to plan ahead, and why not use other means of transport to come and see the fall color. For further information : https://ncc-ccn.gc.ca/events/fall-rhapsody
