At around 08:15 this morning, a collision involving a car and a school bus occurred on Chemin de la Montagne in Chelsea.
There were 14 elementary school students on the bus, and no one was injured.
The collision occurred when the bus driver, attempting to turn onto a side street, was unable to turn because of the slippery road conditions, and was struck from behind by the following driver. He too was unable to brake in time due to the slippery road conditions. Both vehicles still had their winter tires on.
