CATÉGORIES

On Sunday, February 18, at around 01:10 a.m. on Montée de la Source in Cantley, officers from the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais Public Security Service arrested a 41-year-old driver from Val-de-Monts for driving under the influence of alcohol. Prior to the stop, the officers had noticed erratic driving and proceeded to intercept the vehicle. When breathalysed at the police station, the driver was found to be more than 3 times over the legal limit. Her driver’s license was immediately suspended for 90 days, and her vehicle seized for 30 days. She had no prior criminal record and is expected to appear in court at a later date. If you’re planning to drink, always have an alternative plan in place for transportation.
