What is the Support for Self-Employment measure?
The Self-Employment Support measure aims to provide assistance to eligible individuals in the form of coaching and technical advice. The objective is to help these people achieve independence in the labour market, either by creating or developing a business or by becoming self-employed.
Who is this program designed for?
You may be eligible for this program if one of the following applies to you:
- you are receiving employment insurance benefits
- you are receiving social assistance
- you are unemployed and not receiving government income support
- you are working but you have precarious employment
